Cover letter and resume?

By raysmithtx

Question by Krys L: Cover letter and resume?
I’m applying for a job at a bank (online) and it requires a cover letter and resume. Honestly, I haven’t heard the word “resume” or “cover letter” since they taught it in Careers class in 9th grade. I have no idea what I’m doing. Anyone have a good website that’ll help? Something with examples would be awesome, and I just can’t seem to find anything.

Monster has a good site for putting together a resume and cover letter. You may also want to check the Microsoft downloads, I believe they have sample resumes and cover letters.

Go to the Microsoft web site, downloads, templates. They have some free cover pages and resume templates that you can use that are in Microsoft Word format.

I had one resume company http://www.webtech-101.com do my site few weeks ago and was very pleased cz they did a great job on writing my resume and cv. Very affordable too compared to any site. I got a resume and cover letter for $ 49.

    I highly recommend them.
