Assalam sis …Thanks soooo much..i got an interview and i really didnt know wat to wear…now am relief
…..great job..keep it up
I am not Muslim, but this video was very helpful. I am looking for a blazer at the moment for an interview purpose- I’ll need it in a few year probably. I just have large shoulders so it’s difficult. Hopefully one will come my way that will fit (long arms too). It’s out there… somewhere. Or God doesn’t want me to get one at the moment. It’ll come when I need it.
Love your accent
Hey, please do reply and tell me what tutorial it is in which you show how to wear the scarf the way you have worn with your first outfit. This is also a Hoojab right, the smaller one? You said it in the video I think. Thanks in a advance!
PS: your tutorials are great help!
It’s been less than a year since I started wearing hijab. I am still getting used to other’s reactions to it and your videos provide some encouragement I need to stick with it. I have an interview soon and I am conflicted about wearing the hijab to the on-site visit. I am worried about being judged based on my faith rather than my intelligence. I have faith in Allah that things will work out but I am worried about being denied the job as it would help my family out. Do you have any advice?
please tell me about butterfly abbaya or mulhafa I wanna get it stiched by tailor i need some samples
@theshirodoll please tell me the law you are talking about so that i can check it (i am fluent in french so any newspaper article or better legal source available online is fine). anyways any national law would be overruled by the above directive
@theshirodoll I used to (work in France) last time about 6 yrs ago (AFTER la loi de la laicité). They cannot forbid hijab in just any workplace. they can forbid it in “republican”/public institutions for people working there, they can forbid it in public schools etc.. they can according to ec directives like the framework directive 2000/78/EC not forbid hijab just in any workplace. if your employer tells you this s/he’s lyin, i urge you to seek counseling with anti-racism ngos.
@dinavienna What are you talking about? Hijab is FORBIDDEN in working places! You cannot wear the hijab at work, period. Do you live or work in France? O_O
ASA. Great video. thanks for sharing as always. I look forward to seeing more inshaAllah.
@Maryamk121 some arab or possibly also indian style tunics look very classy to suits in my opinion.. they will come to the middle of your thigh if you are comfortable with that (and when your pants are not too tight i suppose) or close to your knee dependin on your own height and the style..something about them suits simply colored suits like black or grey or white quite well in my opinion.. youll have to try! (some countries call the style kurta, under “tunic” you should find lots, too!)
@theshirodoll uhm.. its forbidden in public schools , but you can wear it in private schools all day and in the streets all the time you wish (outside of school hrs in public schools).. niqab is now forbidden to my knowledge, but not hijab.. i have never heard it bein forbidden in the workplace (aside for school teachers i imagine). i was working alongside many veiled ladies some yrs ago in fact (although that was before the niqab ban, but the loi de la laicité was already in place)
@Amenakin ya i’m fine thanks a lot!!! hope you are doing well with your little treasures too
))))
@uniquehijabs I think its good you share advice and i am interested in anything i have not yet heard… but please allow me to say i would be very suspicious of ANY institution which turns away otherwise qualified individuals on a reson like THIS.. (classy attire is somethin important, but this is a detail where either way – tucked in or not – has its pros and cons in looks, and i disagree one is outright more “professional” than the other)
@uniquehijabs Uhm.. I’ve never tucked in my blouses or shirts. I personally feel it’s old-fashioned (except for when it’s tucking in top wear into jeans which suit the style, or very high-waisted trousers), and with some suits it made me feel somewhat too “revealed” (I am not wearing hijab but believe it or not the inch or two of fabric being tucked in or over the trousers made a difference to me for some reason). I have never had issues neither in corporate nor public management jobs…
@Amenakin Sorry to hear, amena (the downright stalking part)… it happens on the internet so easily and often sadly… your answer is inspirin though, you are a role model
)))
MashaAllah Amena, I just love how fresh and young your face looks!
Jazaakillah for this video, many du’as heading your way.
whats a hoojab and how do you wear it differenntly to the hijab?
@ChickAndTweety101 Wa ‘alaikum as-salaam! This person has been stalking me and my friends for a while now lol. Some people are sad and their slander reflects their own state. Ignore them and make du’a for them!

@kimimouche Merci beaucoup

@Sahunali Oh YEY! I did get a lot of requests so I probably did get encouraged by you to do this video. Thank YOU
